Independently subjected to the IEC 61482-1-1:2019 Thermal Hazards of an Electric Arc test method, this boot incorporates fire-resistant laces, Helcor® upper and lining materials, and R-TEN™ stitching threads.
While the results exceed the lab’s capabilities, indicating an ATPV of 126Cal/cm² for material project and no burns observed at 109.4 Cal/cm² for the whole footwear, it’s important to take all possible measures to protect wearers from catastrophic accidents.
In addition, the Arc stands out as the ultimate gear for harsh environments, boasting the Moisture-tech by Sympatex® waterproof membrane tested for a best-in-class performance over 100 hours.
This boot is gaining popularity in construction, civils, and utilities for its Electrical Hazard rating, certified to withstand electrical risks of 18kV according to the ASTM F2412-18 test method. With a 100% non-metallic construction, including a fiberglass toecap and composite midsole, it ensures safety.
The FORCE10® dual-density PU nitrile rubber outsole provides outstanding abrasion resistance, shock absorption, and weight reduction. Compatible with climbing irons, it’s also resoleable. The Ortholite® Climate footbed ensures all-day breathability and comfort.
